TRACHEOSTOMY MASK
An endotracheal tube is a specific type of tracheal tube that is nearly always inserted through the mouth (orotracheal) or nose (nasotracheal). It is used for the endotracheal intubation. An endotracheal tube provides a passage for gases to flow between a patients lungs and an anaesthesia breathing system. It allows one to provide positive pressure ventilation and protects the lung from contamination from gastric contents and nasopharyngeal matter such as blood.
